Short story accepted!

It’s kind of a backwards way to go about it, but I have had a novel published, and a short story has been accepted by a magazine. The best part is that the magazine offers free ad-space in their magazine, so I can use that to promote my novel. The story is called “Vital Signs,” and I’m kind of keeping it under wraps what it’s about. Just trying to keep a bit of mystery in the world. That and I play it close to the vest for the first few paragraphs of the story. ;-D

My new year’s resolution was to post twice a month in this blog, but I’m very close to missing that goal. Alas! But I will strive to have a new post by the 29th, and then March I will try – TRY – for three or four. Just to make up for it. You people take the time to read and follow the blog, you should get your time’s worth!

In other news, I’m working on a large-ish Squire’s Isle story featuring Patricia and Jill (who people seem to like :D). It won’t be posted until August (for story-reasons), but I’m brainstorming. I shall keep you apprised. 😀

Other writing projects… I have a story for Radclyffe’s Author’s Challenge which I’m revising as we type. And I’m also going to be better about posting new short stories on my website. No reason for it to sit there unupdated! Un… not updated? Eh, you know what I mean. 😀

That’s it for today! Wish me luck for reaching my goal by the end of the month! 😀
